Samaritan welcomes new interventional radiology and oncology director

pWATERTOWN — Samaritan Medical Center announced Friday that it has welcomed a new director of interventional radiology and interventional oncology: Dr. Sima Banerjee./ppDr. Banerjee earned her medical degree at Kings College London School of Medicine, completed her radiology residency at Emory University, Atlanta, and finished her fellowship in interventional radiology at the University of Alabama Hospital, according to Samaritan. /ppShe is accepting new patients to her office in the medical center and offers a variety of services involving cancer care, liver disease, urinary issues and women’s and men’s health. /ppSamaritan also welcomed two other physicians to its staff: Dr. Holden Heitner, an orthopedic surgeon, and Dr. Jason Lulejian, a psychiatrist. /ppAccording to Samaritan, Dr. Heitner completed his degree and residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University, Syracuse, and has been working toward certification with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He joined the North Country Orthopaedics Group. /ppDr. Lulejian earned his degree at Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in California and completed his residency training at SUNY Upstate, according to Samaritan. /ppIn addition to offering psychiatry services at the medical center, Dr. Lulejian will provide limited outpatient addiction services at Samaritan’s Outpatient Addiction Services. /p
